Inside the Houses of Parliament compound is a special security barrier that looked heavy-duty & pretty anti-terrorist in its strength. It just seemed out of place sitting right next to a wonderful gothic building. Sign of the times, I suppose. That's not what this blog is about, though. My attention was drawn to the row of tents that are erected on the grass opposite the gates to Parliament. I had never heard of them before but they have been there for years, protesting various world injustices. I did a very quick Google search and found out that Brian Haw has been camped there since 2001, an anti-war protester. A very strange existence and one that takes a level of dedication that I don't encounter from anyone I know, myself included. David Cameron is not a fan, though...
